Founded by Steven and Autumn Adams, Moo Moo The Wine Bar + Grill redefined the steakhouse Brisbane experience when it expanded to the city on the 4th of June 2010. After five years of sweeping awards on the Gold Coast, the duo brought their upmarket concept to the Brisbane CBD, transforming a historic landmark into what is now widely considered the best steak restaurant Brisbane has ever seen.

Our home is the iconic Port Office Building, a heritage treasure located near Eagle Street Pier and the Botanical Gardens. When Moo Moo was invited by Stamford Hotels to take over the space, Steven Adams saw an opportunity to breathe new life into one of the city's most significant buildings. 

Following a multi-million dollar renovation, which earned second place in the Australian Interior Design Excellence Awards, the venue now seamlessly blends classic heritage charm with avant-garde modern luxury. From the 12-metre monolithic granite bar in Moobar to the custom-designed 100% leather chairs perfect for a long lunch Brisbane style, every detail is crafted for comfort and elegance.

As you ascend our grand staircase, you are greeted by the heart of our steak house Brisbane operations: the charcoal grill and our stunning open kitchen. Here, we showcase our pride and joy, the bespoke dry aged steak hanging cabinets.
